Links...

Can someone please tell me how to GET the link of the information that I post? As you can probably see I like to post parts of articles that I find useful so that it can help other people too.... yet I am being accused of taking credit for these articles where as I am simply taking credit for the fact that I decided to SHARE these articles, and help someone else too... I don't see anything wrong with thanking someone who thanked you for making a certain posting, whether you wrote it or not...

But anyway, as some people have requested the links to these articles, i would like to learn how to get hold of them so that i can post it with the articles that I choose to share...

  Vicky,

When ever I need to copy a link from a web page, I copy the web address and paste it into my document.

My apologies to you if I made you feel uncomfortable with my request for a link. No one is accusing you of taking credit for these articles. It is common for articles to be shared here in the EX community. We do it all the time and it's quite acceptable. It's also common practice to share information about the source document.

Actually I was accused of taking credit for these articles Patty... and you did not make me uncomfortable at all, i would just like to learn how to post the links so that everyone can have access to the source of the information I post as you were not the only one who requested it.

There is a URL address for an article which is shown in the longer bar at the top of your page. Right click to highlight it, then "copy."  Bring your cursor down to the comment box and right click again to "paste."  The site has you  "CTRL, Alt/V"  to paste it, then just click "Post."

Hope this helps!
