When I first came to this website, I told everybody I was 64 years old. WRONG! I am 65 years old. What's a year,.....right?
Pitiful when you can't remember your own age.lol Guess some things are better fogotten. Anyway, the site told me to start a quit date of December 4. I didn't take their advise but started right away. So far, so good. That was fourteen days ago (I think) maybe I have that messed up too. Anyway, I'm cheap and refused to buy any thing to help me along like patches, nicotine gum, etc. . I depend on the great people on this site to keep me straight. I feel a little nutty cause I talk to myself way too much and answer me too. ha. But the good part is all the conversations are with the nicotine addict inside me who is throwing a fit for a cigarette. N.O.P.E. Not gonna happen. Enough already. I love being able to breath again and climb a set of stairs without thinking I'm gonna have to call the EMT's. And oh yeah, my feet are turning back to a normal color, they are not purple anymore. Most embarassing in the summer.
