Life is Great!

Hi Friends!

My heart is about to burst out of my chest! These last 3 months have been hectic yet amazing! I have purchased my first home, new boyfriend and a new pup! I adopted a beagle, coonhound mix puppy from a rescue shelter. They think he is about 1 years old.  The first time I layed eyes on him I knew he was meant for me.  I have a lot of work to do but it will be worth it!  Meet Oliver “Ollie”.

This wouldn’t have been possible if I was still smoking! All my money was going towards the nasty cigarettes.

It is so good to hear from you.    House, boyfriend, and a dog (Ollie looks adorable).   Three exciting things to celebrate.  Isn't it great that not smoking helped to make it possible.  Enjoy!

Congratulations on ALL fronts!  Doesn't look like Ollie is going to get a lot of use out of that adorable bed anytime soon.  The house looks like a special place for you, the new bf and Ollie.

Such good news!

Okay, Lois Lane, you know the drill.  First, wishing you the very best.  Maybe I will be coming to a wedding in the near future.  Nice picture of the dog.  Is boyfriend cute? How did you meet?  How long have you been dating?  Has he met your parents, vs versa!  How old is he?  Does he have a job?  Has he ever been married?  Does he have kids? Tall dark and handsome?.  lol .

The first time I layed eyes on him I knew he was meant for me.

Which one? Dog or boyfriend. lmho.  Enjoy, you deserve the best. You don't have to answer right away.  PM is just fine. lmho

I'm so happy for you!  Ollie is too cute!  I have had beagles before and my brother owns one now.  They have a mind of their own and strong noses as evidenced by your video. Lol. Enjoy!  Congrats on the new man and house too!

I am so happy for you, that is wonderful.  Ollie is adorable and the apartment looks wonderful.  I never had any doubt that a new boyfriend would show up, he'd better be worthy of you!

Love,

Ellen

He’s lucky he’s cute! I must have not closed his cage properly because he greeted me at the door when I got home. Destroyed all my blinds! Grrrrrrr

You don't really KNOW what went on in your absence.  He may have scared off a burglar trying to break in that window!!!

I just rescued mine in March.  I never rescued before.   Apparently Charlie has separation anxiety.  With separations anxiety it's common for them to go windows or doors.  They're trying to escape, so damage is common.    He destroyed the first crate while I was gone on the first day and proceeded to destroy a section of my custom shutters.  He's pulled me down on the ground 3 times and wants to chase small critters continuously.  He's cost me a good bit of money--even had a trained come to the house.  That didn't stop the critter chasing, so I have another trainer scheduled in 2 weeks.   Other than that, he's a real sweet heart. He's also lucky he's cute!

Oliver definitely has separation anxiety he is totally fine in his crate when I’m home. I keep telling him mama is poor so stop destroying my stuff! Lol.  But puppies are great. It will be worth it. I think he’s going to be a very good boy was he gets training. He starts puppy school on 7/22.  Can’t come soon enough!

That's Cloud.  I put her down in January.  Charlie (7 yrs old)  is her replacement?   Nothing a like - she was so mellow. This is Charlie.   He looks small, but he's 70 lbs and very strong.
