Share your quitting journey
A very good morning, I got my tooth filled yesterday and I got through the horrid prep as well for the colonoscopy this morning. I need to be at the hospital for 10:15 and with any luck at all, there won't be any delay in getting it done and over with, this old broad is hungry and I sure would love a coffee since I haven't had anything solid since noon yesterday but I will survive and smoking isn't even a blimp on my radar because I already have a bad headache and if I was still smoking I'd be smoking half a dozen and be whining about how bad a headache I had, like dah! Once we get through the roller coaster ups and downs in our quits and continue on with relearning how to deal with lifes emotions and situations which definitely takes time but once you get to that good place and then you realize how much better life is without the crutch let me tell you what a wonderful feeling that is so keep moving forward and stacking up those precious smoke free days because I can tell you that there's life after cigarettes and it's super fantastic, one day at a time or if need be one minute or even one second but aim for the light at the end of the tunnel it may be dim now but it will keep getting brighter and brighter!
