Nothing on TV so I end up watching Intervention on A&E. I'm what they call a surviver because I have been around alcohol and drug abuse my whole life so these stories are nothing new to me. It occured to me while watching this show that when I was smoking I was doing the same thing to the people I love. Maybe not to the point that it cost me my job or husband or caused me to crash a car but the pain you feel when you can't stop someone you love from hurting themselves and you have to stand and watch.

When you allow something to control your life, you become someone other than who you really are.

Take back your life. Be Free!  N.O.P.E.!!

I have been quit for 1 Year, 3 Months, 3 Days, 21 hours, 48 minutes and 57 seconds (459 days). I have saved $2,299.53 by not smoking 9,198 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Month, 1 Day, 22 hours and 30 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 4/1/2010
