Description

I'm proud 2 B A quitter! I quit smoking on Sept 26, 2008. I had smoked since I was a young girl (how sad) and I've quit before only to pick it back up when I felt stressed out. Ha! Alot of good that did me. It's like a friend that just uses you. I wasn't happy as a smoker. I felt sorry for my son when he smelled it on me. I was ashamed at work because I do healthcare. How could I be an example to others to be healthy when I was just killing myself with every puff? This quit is different, I know it is. My outlook is totally different this time, I feel empowered now. I don't feel like I'm hiding from smoking. I've had to confront this addiction head-on and decide that I was going to be the winner this time. I made a promise to myself that I would never touch another cigarette again, NEVER. I'm using the nicotine patches combined with Zyban and it has helped take the edge off (in exchange for a few bearable side-effects). I will never touch a cigarrette again, NEVER!

I love quotes!
