My husband has been fighting a cold all of last week. I called the Rescue Squad this morning. He coughed all night and was having trouble breathing. He refused to go to the ER so they left. I put the quit kit on the bed beside him when he said no more smoking. Told him to stay in bed instead of the living room. (NO SMOKING in the bedroom)!! He has an appointment with the heart doctor tomorrow. Things are just kind of falling into place for the perfect QUIT!! I PRAY THAT THIS IS IT!!

I hope/pray this last health scare will help him to see the benefits of quitting. But, we both know it won't happen until he want's it to be. Candy, my husband hadn't had a smoke from Sept. 19 to Dec. 6, what's that about 12 weeks? And, he must have bought a pack when he left the vet's office Dec. 6th when we had to put Thor to sleep. I had so much hope he would not keep smoking, but he is smoking, but not in the house. I do not bring it up, it is his decision. I asked about it a few days ago and he ignored me. I just said, fine it's your life.

Candy, I hope your husband feel better soon,also,I do hope he stop smoking. Its a very  thing to do as with addictions, but he really has to be the one that want to stop. With more and more encouragement hopefully he will want to stop.

I know I can't be involved in his quit but HE TOLD ME that he wasn't going to smoke today. He's already read Allen Carr's "The Easy Way to STOP Smoking"!! He doesn't want to quit so I just try to set a good example.
