Just over 90 days in....feeling great!!

Hi Everyone!!

I am so sorry I have not posted in awhile. I have had some setbacks with my health, but I am still taking it one day at a time. I am proud to say that I actually lost 30 pounds and was able to get off my diabetic medicine. I was also taken off my high blood pressure pills which felt great because I could not have did it if I continued to smoke. Novemeber 16th made 4 months for me and each day gets easier and easier. Some days I don't even think about smoking and it amazes me why I took so long to make the first step. My girls are so proud of me. I wish I could've been strong for them in the past, but they both know mommy is trying and that means a lot to them. My boyfriend is still a smoker...but he no longer smokes in the house or around us, so I am happy for that. He has to quit on his own terms so I will continue to support him.

Please continue to support me as I will all of you!!!

Hi Nita,

Congrats on your 90 days of a great quit and losing weight besides. Wow! Sorry you are having other health issues, but so glad you are on the right track. It is amazing that it took all of us so long to make that first step to quit. But we are here now.

Hopefully, in time, your boyfriend will have the courage to make the decision to take his life back. Sometimes, we can only lead by example. Maybe you can get him to read Allen Carr's book. Knowledge is Power.
