Wow a week ago Y'ALL, could not foresee finding this place, let alone starting a freaking blog here on the topic of my quitting smoking! The cool thing is already have met a nice lady here, new like me! ☆♡☆. Both on the same road of leaving cigs behind,as are whoever else is on this journey of positive change. I'm not a Saint & having panic attacks over when my quit day will be. I quit back in 2010. Thanks to the fledgling Internet found knowledge and companionship on that journey. Places were limited to find one on one forums. I joined The "Q" original quitnet. With groups from Buddhism Love & quotes to books, gardens and many interests.  People shared links to show the ugly things cigs do. Scary what our bodies can look inside. I smoked a couple being so stressed over that. Oxymoron indeed, but dear readers & perhaps sufferers as well,I tell the truth have seen so many layers that strive to keep us chained to these things. The cig makers saw a goldmine when T.V became a household reality. They could tell us how "Doctors prefers brand x" Now we hear them tell some of us "we have COPD" What crap. And for some of us growing up watching it & our mother's, fathers, grandparents etc smoking. Our cool movie stars smoking ( I love Betty Davis♡) How about a certain age group, who as young kids were so excited to get a pretty plastic Cigarette case with chocolate cigs in paper wrappers. Damn! I get it how we were taught to accept smoking. You saw it in hospitals restaurants everywhere you want to be... I started smoking at 19. Even though Rod Serling passed so young from us. This is my own Twilight Zone episode...
