Hello. My name is John. I've been smoking since I was a teenager with the exceptions of a few attempts to quit. I was able to quit for about a year by first stopping with medication. The problem is that after learning the medication would help me quit, I'd go back to smoking and then use the medication to quit again. This is why I want to do it drug free this time around, but I'm meeting with my doctor on the 11th. He might determine the best course of action for me is the medication and support. A big difference is that this time I'm asking for support and assistance...this is a big step for me.
The only place I smoke is in my home. This is where I need to learn not to smoke. When people who smoke come to visit I have them smoke on the porch.
