We were forecasted for rain and wind yesterday which was fine but the temp overnight was above normal YAY then it just kept getting warmer YAY so Mark opened up the screenroom and I started cleaning things up so we could enjoy the 1st barbecue of the season inside the screenroom YAY! The temp hit 17°C 🌞 YAY After enjoying our barbecued hot dogs and getting things tidied up again then the clouds and wind rolled in along with the rain 🌧 but we didn't care, we had a great time but I have to admit that even though I'm heading for 10 years of Freedom come July that just for a SPLIT SECOND ond after getting everything cleaned up I thought WOW I'd like to have a smoke! YIKES I thought that just for an instant WHEW that's where vigilance comes in! Whether it's our emotions or the weather or the change of Seasons we can and MUST keep our quits in TACT!

Looks like a GREAT day!

AND - I had a vase of lilacs at my bedside overnight, and their fragrance with which to drift off to sleep.

AHHHHHHH - AND no smoking is required!  Perfect!

@MarilynH That reward cigarette can linger in our memory.  I'm doing yard work right now and that's normally when that happens to me.  So I stop in on my computer for my rest breaks.

Marilyn, I really like your sunroom and wish I had one.  So happy for you guys that you were able to grill AND do it before the rain came back.  I love to see a man operate a grill, by the way!  Usually means I get something good to eat.  That stinkin thought.....well, how nice that you can push that thought aside and move on with your day.  After all these years, kinda tells you how strong the addiction is.  I am enjoying the day that the Lord has given me.

Fleeting thoughts after eating and thinking a smoke would be good

NOPE was your solution and to come and blog about it

Thank you because I thought of smoking because I seen people in the movie smoking and they looked like they were really enjoying sucking death DEEP into there lungs with very little smoke coming back out all the tar and nicotine stuck in there bodies

I have to play the tape in my addict mind and remember just like you did the 38 years I smoked to cope with my insides 

I blogged BEFORE smoking and I did NOT smoke all these years only by God's grace for ME
