I'm hoping everyone enjoyed their Christmas and will enjoy going into 2024! Lets be EXtra Vigilant AND hang on tight to the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the GIFT OF LIFE! I'm really missing our very own Nancy @YoungAtHeart especially right now with the new year upon because she always did a post on being cautious on drinking alcohol and possible relapse from a person's inhibitions being lowered from the alcohol! Her posts were dead on, I know I screwed up a few quits from having one too many drinks the last screw up took me 20 years to finally wise up and quit smoking luckily I'd already quit the alcohol for over 3 years so that wasn't an issue anymore plus I found this awesome community AND here I am well over 9 years later living my Forever Quit! Lets ~ NEF ~ Never Ever Forget THAT horrid day one or those early stages of our quits because NONE of us has to ever go back to another day ONE EVER BUT each and every day WON is TRULY THE GIFT OF LIFE! Here's our buddy our pal our Hump day camel George he's safe to talk to now that he's had his coffee LOL! 😃

I always wrote these words on Nancy's posts!

I do not think that I should drink, for if I drink I do NOT think!

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
