Don't know how long...just drifted away...counter says I have 1664 days smoke free, I know it's been over 4 1/2 years...things are going well...it's been hard off and on lately...really hard the past few months, actually...depression hit big time after I injured my knee twice going to the free once-a-week linedancing class in my community. I mean, REALLY?????? ONCE A WEEK and it's all so swollen? Thank God it didn't hurt much but I really needed that class for the social, the music, the movement on a Monday morning. Oh well! Getting old ain't for sissies! So I couch-potatoed it for a while (WAY too long), but my knee got better and I had to chalk up my "new" hobby (linedancing) as something that was fun but not for my knees (miniscus stuff) and it took a while but I'm back in the game. Not smoking...but now that things are better, I got the "urge". Actually brought out the old chopped off plastic straw to suck on tonight. Could it be the wine I bought tonight to celebrate the approval of a discount on my rent that I got in the mail? Yeah, it's probably the wine...but I thought I'd log on and visit and play "last word first" and check out EX. The place where , no, not everybody knows my name anymore, but the place that helped me STAY quit and now that I'm not a total bummer to be around, I'll be stopping back by more frequently.
Love, Bonnie 1664 Days of Freedom (only counted because it came up when I logged on, but dang, it feels good that I have done something right in my elder years...and I'm not going to give it up 🙂
