It's been 14 days!

I am truly excited to report it's been two weeks without smoking!  My body feels great, my clothes aren't smelly, and I'm saving so much money!  It has been a rough time, but with the help of friends and the positive support on here, I've made it 14 days.  The cravings are so much less than what they were.  I'm even going with my parents to Costco tomorrow so they can get the Commit lozenge.  Maybe I've started a trend in my family...  Hopefully!  Although, I am realistic and I know there will be some rough times ahead as well.  Like the first time I go to a bar as a non-smoker.  Or hanging out with my friends who smoke.  I will fight those cravings and not give in.  You either are a smoker or you aren't.  There is no inbetween.

Hi Elizabeth, Congrats on your quit and two weeks is huge! I found that being prepared really helped me to face each new non smoker milestone. That said, the actual experience was so much better than I had expected. It was like the fear was the big issue. Finding out where there were weaknesses and in turn finding so many strenghts. I am proud of you for the great progress. Protect your quit ! Never another puff!

Thank you so much for your support!  This website has really helped.  Since most of my friends don't smoke, they don't know how hard this is.  It's nice to hear from people who are going through or have gone through the same thing.
