It's a freezing Friday

Mothers Beach Kennebunk 012219.jpg

Mothers Beach in Kennebunk, Maine in January 2019 during a coastal storm.

We have freezing rain all day today, so I'm not going out at all, not even for coffee with the guys, not worth the risk.

I didn't always worry about risk, I smoked, I'd have been out on a day like this, maybe not driving but smoking!  Thankfully I no longer make that choice, and I'm also thankful that you have made the choice too!

I can remember how miserable I used to be, standing out and stupid.  I am grateful today that I can make a healthy choice.  Join me in our journey - we just won't smoke together (sort of).

Hi LarryG‌  With pleasure I will join you in our journey to not smoke together.(sort 0f)  I am always facinated with the pictures you post.  I was a smart smoker!! I always smoked inside except if I was at a non-smokers house.  I always had my car close by for when I needed "a breath of fresh air"  (what and idiotic sentence).  N.O.P.E.

Sunny and 65 degrees here in Sacramento, a beautiful day to be a NONSMOKER!  I'm happy to join you, Larry, and not have to go out in the freezing wind to slowly kill ourselves.  Or ruin a gorgeous day with nicotine.  Happy Friday no matter what the weather!  ~Bonnie ~761 DoF

I remember how miserable I was standing outside in all kinds of weather...hot, cold, raining, snowing, wind blowing...you name it.  I am so glad not to do that any more.  Another stunning photo, Larry.

I quit on October 25, 2013, it was the best decision I ever made (or, one of them). I smoked for over 50 years and quit Cold Turkey. My most useful tool is gratitude, you can borrow some from me.
