It's Easy to Remember and so Hard to Forget

I just posted a comment on a friend's blog that made me think about this. I am a Sinatra fan and a song he sang had this title It is about the ending of a love affair. I ended my affair with cigs. It has been over 70 days now but I still miss them-sometimes alot- After all, every cig I ever smoked-so many over the 30 some years was not bad- I had plenty of good times while I smoked. Often my cig was the only buddy I had. I quit because of a health issue too. But had it not been for that I might still be hanging around with my old friend. But now I know that this was not a relationship of equals. My old buddy did not really give me any comfort. He was very sneaky and kept whispering that I needed more and morel He did nothing for me except slowly steal my health and wealth. So now I HAVE to forget about what I thought I loved and move on..
