This may have absolutely nothing to do with not smoking for 11 days but I never have trouble sleeping, it's the one thing I do very well sooooooo why am I waking up at odd hours and NOT being able to go back to sleep.....I have cut my coffee drinking way back and would have thought that I would be sleeping like a baby. Any others sleep deprived exs out there?

Good Morning! Actually, I had the same reaction but when I read other responses, everybody was talking about sleeping all the time!  My take on it is that sleep patterns are temporarily disrupted but correct themselves in about 2 weeks.  I just used that extra energy to get stuff done, but I have the luxury of grown children and a great understanding wife!

It probably has everything to do with smoking but don't blame it on the "nicodemon" . He's more like Santa's figment.

I never used to be able to nap during the day. Now I do it all the time.

I think it's age. LOL

I had trouble at first too. I think has something to do with more energy but not sure. It did start to get back to normal after a few weeks though.

I have had a lot of trouble with sleeping. So I know it has to do with quitting.  As others have said, it passes.

For me it was horrible!  I was up all night and on the occations that I actually did get to sleep, I would wake up and not be able to go back to sleep the rest of the night.  For me it also lasted longer than most people say around 2 months!  I started falling asleep in the middle of the day.  I never thought I'd be right again, I still can't believe what happened but all the sleeping problems that I had before I quit that were amplified 100 times after I quit are completly gone now!!!!!!!  Yeah life is sooooooooo much better now!!!!!!
