It''s not a question of "failed".

After three months, you had earned the freedom to make a decision whether you wanted to live your life free of nicotine addiction or live your life as a smoker. You decided, for whatever reason, to live your life as a smoker. Once you have the first puff, you might as well buy 'em by the carton, but you knew that.

It's not for any of us to give you crap about that. I despise cigarettes with every fiber of my being, but I'll never give anyone hell for smoking. You are an adult. You made an adult choice. I suspect that, someday, maybe 20 or 30 yyears from now, you will be kicking yourself in the ass pretty hard for deciding to return to being a nicotine addict. But, those are choices we all made and we all have to live with.

Glad you are back!  This time will be better because you will be ready.  Be nice to yourself and don't beat yourself up!  You are worth all the trouble.
