Everyone knows that I have been smoking on and off every few days but only 1 or two at a time. I have to tell you that I don’t know what is going on with my body is totally swollen and very uncomfortable did anyone experience this?

well you are not quit if you are still smoking.

when will you decide you are done?

1 or two cigarettes a day is just torturing yourself.

I have no idea regarding the swelling

I only have a cigarette every few days, Yes, I’m torturing myseld. Thank you for responding and for your concern. Regarding the swelling it could be my thyroid medication  because it could be too much now that  I don’t smoke like I used to. Need to go to the doctor.

Dear Ana

Just get yourself to the doctor as swelling is often indicative of infection. Don't you have to go soon anyway to see about your foot? Hope you're on your way to a true quit soon, dear.

Lynette, My foot is O.K. I think is my thyroid medication that the dosage is too much now that I’m not smoking that much

OMG Keep me posted on your thyroid.   It is hard to deal with.   I have graves and went through radiation.  I have have gone up and down  from hyper to hypo with "thyroid storms."  Have your TSH labs done about every 4 -6 months.  I watch my weight like a hawk. I am able to keep it under control, but it takes a lot of monitoring. It's a bitch.   Check for celiac disease if you have a Graves- thyroid  dx.  The two diseases  go hand in hand. Take care, M
