I've gained weight...

Despite the fact that I work out a lot I've gained 8 lbs in 60 days. 😞 I've been in denial about it until I couldn't put my favorite jeans on this morning. I know I'm eating a little more but in the past I could get away with it... I wonder if my metablism has changed? I need to shed this weight quickly... Summer is about over here in Maine. It's gonna get cold quick and I'm not buying bigger jeans! This Mommy needs to step it up with the diet part!

The metabolism does change when we quit - we burn about 200 calories less a day - that can easily be made up with exercise. However, since many of us eat more at the beginning - weight gain is pretty normal. Now that you are ready to jump on it - I'm sure you will be able to get it off. Just don't worry too much.....cut back, increase the exercise - and it will come off!! The important thing is those 60 days quit!!!

In my opinion 8 lbs isn't too bad ... it's natural to substitute food ....you'll find your way back to where you want to be weight-wise, and by the way, You look great !  And your kids must be so proud of you!
