Here in Illinois we has a beautiful, sunny, only slightly windy 35 degree day. I thought about planning a picnic, there were 10 lines that were 7cars deep at the car wash and I thank the lord that we can get a respite to the bitter cold that has plagued our area (well everywhere really) and then I get the automated phone call from the school district saying that due to incliment weather conditions school is cancelled (again). Turns out that tonight all that beautiful weather is being replaced by more scenes from the day after tomorrow. Due to weather, illness, and martin luther King day my daughter was in school for 1 day. *sigh* Have I told you she is 12 and thinks she is smarter than her mom? She doesnt like me either. SHe likes my mom, my husband, my sister, her godmother, but she doesnt like me. SHE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!!
I need to get out of the house and do something. Unfortunately, we are still catching up from christmas and car repairs and birthdays so we are BROKE! I need a vacation. We may run away for a weekend when our tax return comes back in. Just a couple of days R&R...
