Every once in a while even now with 2,348 DOF~Days Of Freedom I find myself smiling because after 40 years of smoking at least 30 smokes a day I never thought in a million years that I'd ever quit BUT thankfully finding out that I have copd was enough for me to wise up, to make a long story short with the help of this community I made it through and so will you it's the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the GIFT OF LIFE! If you were to ask me if quitting smoking was easy I'll be saying HELL NO BUT if you asked me if quitting smoking was worth it I'll be saying HELL YES with a huge smile on my face!!!! Our lives are worth so much more than the damned Cancer Sticks!!!!

Good Morning Marilyn

I so agree  It took a ton of bricks to fall on me before I quit.  My quit included a lot of words I won't mention

Quitting was the Best Thing I Did      It is So Worth It.

  Have a Awesome Day Marilyn

I truly believed I was going to be the last smoker standing, or at the least a smoker on my deathbed.  THRILLED that I'm not and won't be.

And it IS worth it to be free!

It's so good to hear how all of you overcame the clutches of nicotine.  It gives me hope.

I never regret quitting, do I wish I had done it earler? Of COURSE I do but I am doing it now. I honestly shudder at the thought of still being a smoker.

Happy Thursday!
