I'm sure it's hard for you, Patty...living with a smoker. I hope he doesn't smoke in the house! We all have days when we wish we weren't even married, but somehow we get through the hard times and then things get good again.
Sorry Patty! I live with my boyfriend, who's also still a smoker. It's been pretty rough since I quit, but I've been strong! Try to find some time for yourself while you're quitting- that will help with your patience and mood. Good luck to you!!
I think that we need a site called "Living with a smoker-need support". My husband continues to smoke, but I don't let him smoke in the house or my car. I have been smoke free for 3 mo., 12 days and can now be around others that do smoke without feeling too tempted, in fact feel sorry for those still a slave to their habit or adiction. But last week, I did have the urger to chew Robert upside down and sideways for leaving a partial pack of cigarrettes on the table and a partially smoked cigarrete on the back porch and his butts in the front yard. Talk about having to take deep breaths and glue my mouth shut. Anyway Patty, I am so proud of us. Maybe they will quit someday. I know that my Robert is smoking a lot less and he knows I am serious this time. Later-Vicki
