My hubby Mark and I are back home we both liked the Rheumatologist she checked me out from head to toe! On top of all the issues I have with my ankle she told me I have Rheumatoid arthritis in it as well she gave me a cortisone shot and said it probably wouldn't help for long due to the swelling she set up bloodwork and chest xrays and other things lol I'm tired! She wants to see me  again in 3 wks she gave me a prescription for a very low dose of pretisone 5mg that's used in chemo patients I'm starting out with 6 pills in the morning for 6 days then 5 pills for 5 then keep working down until I get 2 pills a day then stay with that and hydroxyquine 200 mg to suppress my immune system! Mark went in with me it was way to hard to take in everything she said BUT she's sending a report to my Dr. so I'll be seeing him soon I hope and get a photo copy of her report, I'm totally EXhausted, frustrated BUT also somewhat relieved because hopefully finally something will get done there's most likely surgery down the road still! I'm so thankful that I don't smoke because I'm in bad enough shape NOW Instead I'm handling all of this stress on LIFES terms without that horrid Crutch!  By quitting smoking AND or Vaping or dipping AND sticking with it is TRULY GIVING OURSELVES THE GIFT OF LIFE! VIGILANCE IS KEY TO FREEDOM!

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
