Recovering from my Friday Dermatology appt. to remove a basal cell carcinoma from my nose. It was more unpleasant than I thought it would be. They performed the Mohs process where they take a portion of the cancer, freeze it & then look under the microscope to make sure the perameters have no cancer in them. We wait in the waiting room for an hour & then they come in & say they need to cut more. 2nd time was a charm (but it didn't feel very good). They got it all & I now have 7 stitches in my little nose.. Can't wait for this all to heal. (yes, I thought about a cigarette, but glad I don't smoke anymore!). Best part was this morning when we got the call from Armenia that our sweet granddaughter was born, healthy & cute as can be. It's their 2nd child (1st one is a boy). 5 hrs of labor, & everyone is doing great! This is the reason we are going over there in Dec. & staying 6 months. Can't wait to hold her & be part of her life! THIS would not be happening for us if we still smoked. This is the best benefit of our quit!
