So my original quit day was 2/17/14 well i was sooo tired of smoking and just done period!! I got a cold a few days ago and of course being a smoker those colds can get really bad. So I thought every time I smoked. why am I waiting 2 weeks from now? My chest is hurting, im coughing up my lungs, i feel like crap. This is the perfect time for me to quit. I just didnt want to smoke another cig So on feb 4 around 10 pm I smoked my last cig. I told everyone in my home that i quit. so my quit day became 2/5/14. im in my second day, I always get this moment like I am missing something, then my head gets foggy. but it passes then Im ok.

Hey,that is awesome!I moved my quit day up when I quit too.Only by one day though, lol.I was just tired of smoking too,but also, had run out of cigs and did not want to by a pack for the next day that I would not finish.I am at 28 days now,and doing great.

Although I had a wicked smoking dream last night! It was so real,it took me a while after I woke up to realize I hadn't slipped up for real.I must have been in a fog from that Chammomile tea I had before bed last night.lol.

   Congratulations on your new quit!

I'm just waking up and I was confoooosed.

I was thinking "why would they smoke if they were so sick?, It's a perfect time to quit"

I thought you delayed it again.

LOL

Good for you.

Does that tea have halluciongenic properties?

Perfect time to quit! You are going to have so much more time to do stuff, have you made a list of things you can do instead of smoking? That helped me a lot in the beginning. Drink lots of fluids and get over that cold, it will go away much faster without smoking, so that's another bonus! Hang in there!

Congrats and how you are feeling is normal.  Drinks lots of water, do slow deep breathing and rest up the next 2 to 3 weeks also.
