I had a dream last nite

That a friend was smoking, we were standing by the door in the middle of winter, freezing, I wanted one, but I did not smoke. I said no. My past quit attempts I dreamt I smoked and longed for a cig. I wonder if there is a meaning to the difference of dreams. I know there isnt. I know ppl who dreamt of smoking and are sucessful quitters. Just wanted to techinically add this to my "electronic journal"

Almost everyone who quits smoking has "the smoking dream", usually where we smoke in our dream and wake up in pure panic thinking we've blown our quit. It's nearly universal, very real, and nothing to be alarmed by at all. Afterall, it shows that our quitting has entered our subconscious dream mind.

If you click the lobster to go to my page, one of the podcast audio lessons is called "The Smoking Dream". It explains, in some detail, what is going on.

When I had "the smoking dream", I woke up in a cold sweat and and was rattle all day. It was very reassuring to know that everyone has those dreams!

hi kristy, i've been clean about 3wks., on 2 chantix daily, 2 take away the craving. ask me when the chantix
runs out. ha! ha! i am a member of christian ex's,+ i love it. making friends,+ supporting one another is what it is all about. i believe it works out much better than a phone support system, 4 me personally. if they have 1
thats great, but not 4 me.` real friends r those who, when you've made a fool of yourself, don't feel that you've done a permanent job. hope 2 hear from u soon. have a great day!
blessings,
carol

Had 'em too Kristi, not a good way to wake up. Had one dream that was so real I swear I could still taste the cig when I woke up.
