I had a doozy of an OMG crave today. Worst one in over a year and half. It lasted 2 1/2 minutes.

Trying to deal with the bank, merchant account services and collections (4 entities all together) about my business account and incorrect merchant account fees that bounced the account everywhere.  For the 3rd straight business day in a row.

Holy cow, what a mess.  I've spent the last several days canceling auto debits before the account is so deep in fees you could call it a lake.

So I grabbed a Dum Dum sucker out of the candy dish.  And chomped it.  And got the heck over it

The trigger: The last time I had a beaurocratic mess that big.

Didn't smoke over it.

Life happens. Stress happens. You learn to deal with it. 😉

942 days sinced I stopped making excuses to smoke.

Have a great night!

Hooray for getting past the crave.  It is great that you had enough experence to know you could ride it out.  Now if only were that easy to fix the mess.

Hope you can work all that out with the banks. Stress is something we have to learn to deal with, it won't go away ever but we do get stronger!!! Thank god for lollipops! 🙂

Misty, I too have been having craves.  I have a friend who was sitting with me at a meeting last night.  She quit smoking 10 years ago, and last night she whispered to me, "I want a cigarette."  Stress will bring out the worst cravings ever.  I believe it to be the one of the most powerful excuses that can carry you on to ruining a beautiful quit.    Realize how strong you are, and continue to protect your quit.  You are doing awesome!!!!!  See those craves for what they are - your addiction trying to take control.  Don't let it!

That 942 days looks beautiful on you too!!!!  We are the WOMEN, YES!!!!!

Great job getting through it, and a great reminder for me to get some Blow Pops before some big craves hit!

A picture of you, flashed through my head, of you sitting there with a stop watch timing your crave. LOL.   I hope you can get things figured out. Congrats on 942!!  Keep a good supply of Pops!

942 days thats awesome!! great job in letting that moment pass. Everytime i get that feeling that I want a smoke, I try to think about how I would feel once I smoke...totally dissapointed in myself. So that keeps me strong!!

Congrats!  You are right, the stress willl be there whether we smoke or not.  And smoking only guarantees there will be stress every hour on the hour. 942 days - amazing
