Day 2 went great! There were a couple of times when I was tired that Found myself thinking it would be a good time for a cig. but instead, I popped a piece of nico gum and dived deeper into my hobby (I Quilt), Sew I just got busy, LOL!!!

I did eat a bit more and I figure that its ok in the first few days as long as I don't go hog wild. I don't really want to panic about weight gain, because I will use that to try to covince myself that smoking will stop that, You know when I was a teenager who smoked I actually used to tell people I would rather die skinny of cancer than fat. I sometimes can't believe how sick my mind can really get. But its my mind and I need to guide it toward a happy and fulfilled life, because left on its own, my mind would probably have me drinking and smoking with a bunch of fair weathered friends.

Anyway, enough of my mind crap, I think that without the smoking I am thinking alot more than I usually do. To curb this a bit, I have been listening to books on my Ipod while sewing and driving. So far I have listened to "Blind Fall" the new book by Christopher Rice (Ann Rice's son) and "The sugar camp quilt" by Jennifer Chiaverini. I just loaded "Eclipse" by Stephanie Meyer and am waiting for book four in the twilight series.

That concludes yesterday, as far as today (day three) I am doing some cleaning around the house and back to the quilt shop to do some more sewing.

Good luck to all.

William
