I choose not to smoke 99 cigs.

After my post this morning I got alot of great positive feedback and one not so nice.  If I offend someone because I slip and make my own mistake then I'm sorry, but according to this site it says it's better to come forward and work it out than to try to pretend it is not there.

The reason I wrote choose not to smoke 99 cigs is because after my slip last night I woke this morning and decided I don't need to dwell on it or feel bad, because the truth is I use to smoke about a pack a day and I said no more than 100 times and to me that is something.

Today is my quit day Beamer and I have no doubt that at some point I will slip, suck it up, and move on with my quit program.  I don't think you need to apolgize to anyone.  It's a process remember.  And if you're like me, a very big process.  I'm glad others put it out there when they slip, Keep up the good work and you can do it.

The truth is often the most encouraging comment. You shouldn't feel bad.

It was not a criticism

Hi Beamer! Sorry I missed that last blog! I did go back and read it and all the comments.

The ‘one not so nice’ was one telling you the truth and calling you on your addict behavior! The comment that made you react was really the most positive comment there…It just doesn’t FEEL like it. This is a matter of life and death and even though we are all about love we would be remiss not to be honest!

Please don’t take offence…I absolutely promise you that all comments are in your best interest!

If you click on the avatar pics it will take you to that person’s page and you can see how long they are quit and then maybe your reaction will soften…

You got some lovely comments from people not quit or brand new quit so of course they would be like…Hey no problem!

That being said maybe go back and re-read all the comments…I thought you were fortunate to get LOTS of great suggestions from everyone! xo

Beamer, I apologize if anything I said bothered you or upset you. I just want you to know that you can do this and you have a lot of support here. I quit for 45 days my first time and "slipped" and it took me almost a year to try again. Just because I let my inner junkie win and tell me that one will not hurt. It did hurt, because it caused me to smoke for another year when I had 45 days behind me smoke free. I am sure everyone here understands how hard it is both mentally and physically to stop smoking, but I have faith that you will be successful and again, I apologize if anything I said offended you at all.
