I am tired tonight, but I will not smoke over it!

Good evening, everyone!

I hope your year is off to a great start!  I am getting sleepy, but I wanted to stop by and say hello.  I remember a time when I smoked cigarettes to stay awake, especially during college and graduate school.  I would have had my homework done sooner had it not been for all those smoke breaks!

Did any of you smoke to stay awake?  How did that work out for you?  I remember feeling sick from smoking so many cigarettes.  At that time, I never took the risks into consideration.  I am grateful to be free from nicotine today.

Good night!

🩷 and ☮️, Jen

There was a day when the entirety of my day revolved around smoking.

I regret the wasted time more than the wasted money now.

@Cat_Mom_Jen Don't remember smoking to specifically stay awake.  But if I was awake, I was probably smoking. 😊

The best use for smoking for me was being able to step away and take a break from whatever the craziness was- family, work, hospital, etc.

Have a good day.

Well, I smoked for every reason and I smoked one before bedtime, so I don't think I smoked to STAY awake, I just smoked because I wasn't sleeping.....that doesn't make sense maybe.  Your kitties are cute.😻

I also smoked about two cigarettes in the middle of the night when I'd wake up.

Nice blog, thanks.

@PastTense, I don't even want to think about how much time I wasted smoking. 😔

@Barbscloud, I used to think that I would retain information better when I smoked.  How crazy was that?  I hope you are having a good day! ☺️

@biscuit9, Makes perfect sense to me!  I used to smoke when I couldn't sleep, too, but that made my insomnia worse.

Aaawww, thank you!  We have ten indoor feline fur babies, five girls and five boys.  All are spayed and neutered.  You all will get to know them. 🥰

Thank you for sharing this uplifting inspiring post it's much appreciated, I remember so many chores I'd do around the house and yard and the many smoke breaks that I'd take! 🤷‍♀️ Whew thankfully not anymore! I don't think I ever smoked to stay awake 🤔 but i used to smoke cigarettes one right after another at times that left me feeling sick ugh! I'm so glad that we're living a LIFE of Freedom. @Cat_Mom_Jen Happy 2024! 🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉
