Since my first blog I have quit! I have found the WILLINGNESS! I have found the support here to be amazing! I dug deep inside myself and found the desire to overcome this nicotine addiction for good! NOT ONE PUFF EVER! NOPE! I found that WE can do this! I just have to reach out and take the hands of others when I get weak and offer mine to others when they are too. It is a WE program. Craves are a good thing. It reminds me that I am an addict. It's what I do with them that counts! When I overcome them I win. Never again do I have to be a slave to that nicodemon! I am FREE!! You can be too! Make that decision and together we can BREATHE! It is doable. Thank you to all that have come into my life and have helped make a difference. I hope to do the same for others. Pass it on and remember-- BREATHE!!!
My life has so changed and turned around since I stopped smoking. I think yours as everyone's does when they see the health benefits. Oh, yes...the health benefits are just a part of the rewards. This is a very doable thing.......yes BREATHE!!
Hi FL-Stacey, glad to hear that you're in the ball game with us! willingness and committment are key. without them, have a fair to poor chance of success. yes, we have to remember that a relapse starts long before we pick up that one cigarette. it's that "ONE" that gets us hooked again. i'm glad you're here. Hey! I got through Hell Week! I a on day 8! Thanks to all of you for sticking by me. You all rock! Your success inspires me to keep on going! One day at a time! And yes--Florida is smelling better each day that we don't smoke here! We do our best!
