I Quit

My original quit date was march 10 2013. But last night I was laying in bed and decided I was done. Today is the day i became an ex. I am doing good so far. I really haven't had any cravings and if I had they were so small I didn't even notice them. I have my supplies read though and I know what I will do if a craving gets bad. One thing that I will remeber is "it is not okay to have just one". I think Lou Tice is right. If you can visualize what it will be like to have something or do something and make it your reality then it will be. I am so excited to start my new health life and breath easier. I have only been on this site for 4 days total. Day 1 is good. I am looking forward to day 2.

YOU CAN DO THIS!  Just read up, be prepared to ask for help, and celebrate your success (without a cigarette).  You are so worth it - good luck 🙂

Also remember that you are relearning life as a non-smoker, so change up those routines where you used to always smoke.  Jonescarp suggests drinking your coffee with your OTHER hand!  I ate a frozen Hershey Kiss with mine in the morning.   Anything you can do to change it up with also help!

Congratulations on your decision to quit.  You CAN do this, and we can help!

OMG!  I am so proud of you!  and to start even sooner than you thought.  Be proud!  Be strong!  Come here often.  It is seriously what has kept me strong.  The nights are sometimes the worst but just come here!  Read how everyone else is doing, how the newbies are doing!  It is a wealth of strength.  Good Luck to you!

Congratulations.  I also quit early because I had my mind made up and I was so excited about quitting that I could not wait.  I hope that is the way you also feel.  Because in Carrs book, he stated that you should be excited to be an ex smoker.  It will be so much easier.  So happy for you.

Allen Carr seems to have helped out almost everybody here and that is great. For me Lou Tice is what did it. I am to stubborn and once I set my mind to do something I do it. I don't know how Allen Carr. I ordered the book but never read it. I am still having cravings but not as bad as yesterday and I know each day will get easier. I don't want them and I don't need them. I enjoy breathing health. I enjoy having a long life. I know I will enjoy seeing my grandkids running around and playing and that I get to play with them. I enjoy playing with mykids and chasing them around. I enjoy being healthy.
