I Need Sleep Too

Changing my smoking habit is changing my sleep habits.  I haven't slept well in too many days.  The last 48 hours, I have slept only 3.5 hours.  I am so tired and sleepy, but I cannot fall into sleep.  Looks like I will have to visit the sleep site to regain control of my sleep patterns. 😞

This is perfectly normal , I didn't sleep well at the beginning , I still have days that I don't sleep a lot but its much better than before!

If you can, try and take a nap, I never could but if you can do it, it might help your energy levels!

Same holds true here, I thinks it's part of detoxing and unlearning

this is nicotine withdrawl. it takes 2-3 weeks to get through as your body processes normalize/

its hard to give you advice when your dr is telling you to keep smoking and you're listening. why didn't he suggest 2 pieces of 2mg gum?

i don't get it.

I understand; you are confused.  It seems I am not traveling the beaten path.  I do wish very much that I could just use a replacement product and be done with this.    The doctor did not tell me to keep smoking, he said to not stop smoking suddenly.  The plan is going well, only the not sleeping thing is giving me trouble.

Jonescarp, having read the message you sent first, I wish to say that the doctor did not say to stop at three cigarettes, he said to wait until I reach that point.  He also said that I could try to stop the cigarettes at 4 if I felt very confident.

you are a tough cookie shadoza, I hope you can find the sleep you are looking for 🙂 I personally have been having issues waking up so i can give no advice other then read something very boring before bedtime. 🙂
