White Breasted Nuthatch Bob Duchesne.jpg

A White Breasted Nuthatch.  Bob Duchesne took the photo.

How great it is to wake up a winner!  When I was an active smoker I couldn't wait to get a smoke, the heck with anything else - that how it was.  Now I can take my time with all the I need to do, I am constantly grateful for the opportunity to choose not to smoke, and that's worked for over 2000 days (can't remember the right number).  But, gratitude works, be thankful for everything, including not smoking, chewing, snuffing or whatever.

"Great things happen to those who don't stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful.”
Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

I quit on October 25, 2013, it was the best decision I ever made (or, one of them). I smoked for over 50 years and quit Cold Turkey. My most useful tool is gratitude, you can borrow some from me.
