44 days today, i quit smoiking. I bought a pack 2 hours ago. They are packed and ready to go. In fact, my lucky is turned upside down already (3rd from the right, middle row). So far I have stopped in the convenient store parking lot to call Dale to get through, but am having such a shitty day, i didn't call in fear of disappointing him. By now, I am sure he is reading this. Biggest fight ever with my husband. A lot stirred up from the past that has just clouded my life again. Help! haven't lit up yet, but am ready.

Don't do it.Smoking won't help. It will only make a bad situation worse.Don't throw away all the work you've done. You deserve to get through this WITHOUT smoking.

You can handle whatever comes your way.  You've been doing this for 44 days.  You were also successful at other times, when you needed to be.  ie:pregnancy.

Please know that smoking will not make any situation better, it will make it worse.  Don't give your power away.  Stay strong.  Do some deep breathing, pray, get mad and hurt your pillow.  Do whatever it takes, but don't smoke.

Ok, so, I gave up smoking for Lent. Which, of course, started ash Wednesday 44 days ago. Today is holy Thursday. In fact, I have a purple survival bracelet on to remind myself everyday. I promised myself, I would cut it off if I gave in and smoked. Well, still intact. feeling better, and am going to now throw awy the pack that I bought and packed and carefully prepared. So, I guess I just throw away $6.00 worth of a weak moment. Not without a few words though. . .#@$*9*(*%!!!  *^%#**^% *&^**% Thank you precious friends. My life and my decisions truly depend on you now.

hang in there. Don;t smoke. Whatever the issue is it will get better. Smoking will make whatever feeling you have right now worse after you inhale. try taking your mind off of things. Whenever I get the urge I play a game on my phone. It seems to help destract me.

Getting through a crisis like this one, will make your quit even stronger.  I am glad you chose to throw out the pack.

You will be very glad, in the light of day tomorrow, that you did not give in tonight.

My thoughts are with you.
