I am now over 1000 days quit, and very rarely do I have cravings. I admit they do come sometimes in a raging

storm. I sit still and fight and wait for them to pass. This Christmas will be my first without my mom,

who passed just over 10 months ago. I put up no decorations this year and that helped me not be sad over the holidays. However, my best friend passed away Dec 3,2016. Gee, I can't wait for this year to be over.

I have been doing water aerobics twice a week at the YMCA , this helps me with my breathing and general health, but I didn't go yesterday due to coughing and chest pain.

Thank you all for your support and I see so many newbies, that's wonderful, you've gotta start somewhere.

I think it's time for me to take a vacation somewhere, I am going to Punta Cana, in the Domenican Republic for a winter break. This is my first real vacation in 10 years.

I understand how you feel about Mother's Day and your mother not here to share it. Within a given time it won't be as hard,  I speak from experience.  My mother passed in 2003 and Mother's Days can be difficult and filled with emotion.  Here is a link I would suggest you take the time to read and research.

Thank you all for your posts. I will not smoke and honor my Mom.

Jackie, I could not open your link, it said Forbidden. Perhaps because I am in Canada,

some links don't work here. If it is on youtube, I will have to go there and find it.

I will enjoy the farm on Friday the 13th, 2 heffers were born since last week. I hope I can hug them.

I feel for you.  I lost my mom 20 years ago on Good Friday.  This is the first year ever that I planted a tree in her honor on that day.  Looking forward to next year to see how much it has grown

I totally enjoyed the farm with my nephew. I witnessed the birth of a baby cow and got to pet her. Now I'm back home in Montreal and the weather has finally warmed up so I went to the market and bought tons of flowers to plant on my deck. They look so beautiful. The morning glories, hybiscus and impatients etc,,,

Thank you all for your support. My mom planted a maple tree and it is now up to my bedroom window Cracymama (Lori), it will help you remember and honor her.

Thanks for reminding me about the tree mom planted.
