This year is my 11th year without cigarettes'. I do think about it anymore.

I am also on my way to being 2 years without alcohol. I am starting to loose count of the days.

There is life after addictions. You simply learn about yourself again, and then you learn a lot more in so many other ways.

You gain skills you never thought you had because you don't think about that one thing.

I now run a business that handles Music production, video editing, logo design for artists, etc. Every skill I picked up has been apart of it's small growth.

I am still writing an album, writing more music than I ever have before. Right now I am up to producing 2 tracks in a hope I reach my goal of between 10 and 12 songs.  My second project is doing new ideas too.

My fiancée is also a music producer and I am in the process of writing my first remix for him.

All the money I would of put towards cancer sticks and alcohol now goes into buying instrument packs for my music app and the things I love from Temu. But now it is time to start saving again.

I am now on disability, so I no longer work and just do music and video production. It keeps me out of mischief lol

I am doing my best to concentrate on the positives. Yesterday, I got slandered on Facebook for trying to help a group. Some people just don't understand this for some weird reason.

So how is everyone else doing?

About the Author
I first started smoking in around 2008 after a horrendous break up. I don't know why I did in the first place. I resent this decision to this date. Now I am free and continue to stay off the cigs! I currently work as a kitchenhand and write music!
