So it's been such a long while since I have been on here. But I would like to post this in Hope's it will help someone else. Back in 2020 my grandmother had a heart attack and passed away. It was sudden. It was unexpected. She smoked her whole life. I quit in jan 2022. I was rushed to the er on monday night with chest pains and high heart rate. The first thing they asked after all the normal questions was "do you smoke" and I told them I recently quit. They said that's a good thing because had I still been smoking the outcome could have been worse. Turns out I just had a viral infection and my heart rate was up due to working overtime. If you work your heart overtime AND smoke , it might give up. Take the chance to quit today. I did and can literally prove it saved my life.
