I've been reading some blogs the last few days and most of them are very encouraging. Some blogs in a way just plain confuse me so I do need to be careful. I do wonder though if I should be responding to blogs and or posts since I have not quit yet. I'm still in the process of getting ready to start going to online school and I seem to be making some progress with filling out some paper work to pay for my classes and books. Other than the obvious reasons for going to school the biggest deal for me is that it will decrease the chances of me being around other smokers and I will avoid those cravings and avoid the urge to ask for a cigarette. With me doing doing school online I can always go to my local library where smoking is not allowed withing 50 feet of the building and there are not any butt cans for the people to put out their cigarettes. I still not have used any chewing tobacco but I am not  going to count those days until I start on my quit date just in case I take one last dip before my quit date but I honestly don't see that happening. I'm still receiving text messages that provide me encouragement and advice about quitting. Just one question though and that is how does sucking on mints and chewing on gum help me with my quit when I start?
