Well, I met with my surgeon today and have my surgery set for September 12th.  They'll be removing about 20% of my pancreas and my entire spleen.  I felt great when I left because he is so confident that they will get out all of the tumor and I should be as good as new.  No chemo or radiation needed!

I'm still on track for my quit day tomorrow.  A little apprehensive about it, but I've done it before, so I can do it again.  I like to joke with people that I am really good at quitting smoking, I've done it a million times, it's the sticking to it that's a real b$%tch!

Some of you who commented on my last blog asked me to keep you informed of my surgery, so here is the info that I found out today.  I'm feeling really good about the surgery and the quitting.  I hope I'm not taking on too much at the same time.  Time will tell.

Thanks again for all of your thoughts and prayers, means the world to me.  Hope everyone is well and enjoying another smoke free day!
