Have I lost a finger??

My husband, who has also recently quit smoking, realized that quiting smoking is not just quit and be done.. for some of us it's like loosing a finger, you may always miss it.. you may always feel like it should be right there when you look for it.

Do others feel like that? I do, I grab my cell phone with belt clip attached, and think I'm holding a pack and a lighter. Then I realize I can't smoke it. And it's not like I really want to .. I ca survive without it just fine. I know I don't need to smoke.. I know I'm doing well.. Everyday I come closer to becoming a non smoker.. instead of a smoker who isn't currently smoking..

So, any long timers out there.. is this true.. how do you process it.

Those are my thoughts for the day...
