Happy New Year

Hello, I decided last week to start my new year with no cigarettes.  I have tried twice before to quit with no success.  This year I decided this is what I NEED to do.  I have health issues and my doctors have said I need to do this.  Iam doing it for my health, my kids, grandkids, and because the ciost of cigarettes is obscene and can be used for much more productive things in my life.  My husband smokes and he says he is not going to quit, but he will help me to do this.

Hi I am also new to this.  My husband also smokes.  He is smoking away from me.  I am glad you are part of the community and I would be glad to help in any way I can.

Welcome ladies!  My spouse is still smoking, although much less these days.  I've taken the attitude that this is my quit.  Nothing, absolutely nothing, is interfering with my quit.  If I smoke, its my choice...no excuses...I'm choosing to breathe, to live...while I hope my spouse joins me some day...today its about my quit.
