Well since I started over. and went from 15 days no puff down to one day no puff.  I can say i made it thtough the day.  I don't know if working a double had anything to do with it.  But I did good.  Not even on break or lunch.  whew. one down a mil to go.  i know i can i know i can i know i can.  well night all have to get to bed. gotta open in the am. stay strong my friends stay strong

Hi tracy, Congrats on 1 day. Do all the reading you can on nicotine addiction. Keep a good positive additude about your quit, drink plenty of water, come here and blog, comment and ask questions about your quit, laugh a lot too! All the above suggestions will help aid you in quitting, you stll need to do the work and really all that is, is don't smoke. You can do this!

Hi Tracy,  stay determined and keep pushing forward one hour at a time, one day at a time.  Each day, your body is benefitting.  Do it for you!

thanx everyone.  the support is awesome. i really need it because i sure don't have it here.  Like I said. all my roommates smoke my family smokes, my friends smoke, my co workers smoke...if it werent for the awesome people like all of you, i don;t know what I would do.  so THANK YOU to each and everyone of you. you are all in my thoughts and my prayers.  may GOD shine down on all of you and bless you all immensely.. gotta get back to work.   peace out.  Oh and N.O.P.E.

Here is an acronym to understand what the big triggers are and how to avoid them. Remember to H.A.L.T.!  I think your trigger the other day was being tired from that double shift. Being hungry, angry, lonely, or tired are big triggers and a crack in your armor so be aware and prepared!

Hungry- eat something on a regular basis to keep blood sugar leveled

Angry- manage your temper by meditation, exercise or deep breathing

Lonely-  Come here and talk to us! 😉

Tired- be sure to get proper rest!

thank you connie.  Now I have 2 very inspiring things to live by....N,O,P,E AND H.A.L.T.  You all have the most amazing ideas and sayings.  thank you for every bit of it.  it truely helps when feeling weak.
