Great News on Day 44

Hi non smoking friends:  I have a big to announce on day 44 - not a single crave yesterday - a total 1st for me.  I had more thoughts than usual of cigarettes, maybe 15 or so, but all were along the lines of, "I'm not smoking and I don't want a cigarette!"  This is absolutely huge for me and I was so grateful.  Plus it gave me a look at good times to come.  I am feeling better and breathing better and deeper, and this keeps me going thru rough times!

Another thing that helped me recently.  A long term ex posted on someone's blog that at 4 months he/she almost never thought of wanting a cigarette.  And I'm almost half way there.  Day 44, and I will not smoke today!

Hi Judy - I'm so happy for you, I can't remember which day I was on when I didn't have a single crave (like you I think about cigarettes often during the average day - but just thinking about them, not craving)   I do feel better, breathing, energy & sleeping much better!  First time I have ever made it this far,,, 88 days today!  It makes me so happy - it feels good to have these days behind me.  I know it would be so easy to slip up...so I'm keeping my guard up every day!!

Congratulations Judy!!

Now that's an accomplishment worth celebrating! I can't remember my last actual crave. I still get a thought here and there but I've been telling myself, "I don't do that anymore". It's surprising how such simple statements as ours has such a powerful effect . I'm am SO glad I quit and got to meet people like you. I'm raising my coffee cup to you Judy!!

Judy - I think I may had one or two minor cravings yesterday - see they were so minor, I don't even remember if it was one or two.  Anyway, like you I do have lots of thoughts - mostly when I'm not busy doing something.  This sure is better than at the beginning when I was thinking of smoking/quitting all the time.

So, let's both enjoy Day 44 as the Freedom Train keeps chugging along.

Good morning my early bird friend 🙂  How you doing today?  I was amazed when my cravings went away and sometimes when I would go to bed at night I'd say "Wow!  An entire day and you didn't think about smoking today!"  Never thought I'd say that, but there you go, it happens.  Stay on track, you're doing fantastic!

I'm off to find a counter clock, this is driving me crazy .. weeks instead of days ... no no no no no no!!  ha ha ha
