Got through Dental Surgery

I've had a lot of dental surgeries the last three years.  I've had a lot of bone loss and they've grafted and done implants.  I always hurt for at least two weeks.  Unbearable pain even with pain meds due to the smoking.  This last procedure went well with no pain meds.  I'm still tender and swollen but manageable.  I was only uncomfortable for three days and I contribute this to no smoking.  I am overwhelmed with my progress and didn't want the cigarette affecting my swollen mouth.   In the past I didn't even think of my poor healing mouth.  I'm not going to smoke over it is a saying I read another EX post.  Very good indeed.  I've got 85 days free from cigarettes and plan to continue.  Hope you can do the same.

Only 30 lbs. overweight now. Can hardly breathe in. Obtained acid-reflux since my last quit. LOVE being a non-smoker. Glad to be back.
