Good morning folks!~ It is a beautiful Saturday morning. I hope you all got past Friday the 13th w/o anything freaky happening hehe

Well I haven't used a lozenge since around 3 pm yesterday so right now am trying to fight craves off mentally. Using nicotine makes me feel a lot like I did when I was smoking (obviously) and those feelings are a lot of the reason why I quit. It keys me up way too much. Part of the reason that I quit, is I have suffered with anxiety randomly the past few years and cigarettes clearly did nothing to help that. In fact when I slipped the other day, I was very anxiety ridden the rest of the day... not just b/c I slipped, but b/c of how the cigarette made me feel.


One of the things that causes bad craves...is thinking about weight gain/loss while quitting. I've been trying to lose weight anyways the past few months and now with quitting... well let's just say I'm quite paranoid. The first couple days I really did eat a lot, then I realized I was replacing cigarettes with food! That was a scary realization. I am watching that now.

I've been trying to drink a lot of water. Clean out my system.

I'm a bit sad that I don't feel so much better yet. Maybe it is because I have been messing with the nicotine levels in my body. Maybe it would be a good idea to make an appt with my doctor just to talk about being quit and just have a nice checkup..dunno.
