I finally got in for the colonoscopy at 11:30 and was waking up at 1:30, the nurse said everything looked good which is wonderful but I still need to know what the problem is, maybe it's as simple as a better diet ,I don't see this Dr that did the procedure until the 10th of December, I had to get my husband to pull over on the way home I got sick. Mark picked up Mason for an overnighter while I slept and they were outside gathering wood to put in the basement .I got Mason all settled in for the night watching TV and even though it's only 8:30, I am ready for a decent nights sleep, thanks for all the comments on my morning blog and Yay for another day WON!

I'm so sorry you have had to wait so long, not only for the test, but to see the dr. coming up. I'd be calling everyday for a cancellation spot maybe they can get you in earlier. Oh well something to think about. Have a restfull night sleep Marilyn, see you tomorrow.

You have been through a lot n the last 2 days My friend get a good nights sleep !

I have my health site on line, it is called "My DH "  and I had an echo cardiogram the other day the results were already online ....everything back to normal ! So much better then having to wait weeks to find out ! I just got it online a few weeks ago through m hospital it is so convenient tests , MD notes, upcoming appts etc all online ! I can also e-mail to get appts or ask a question !

I'm so sorry about not knowing what has been going on.  I just now saw it...Well, from experience, as I have had colon work done in the past, I can assure you that you don't really want to hear back from them right away.  If there is something that is out of order, or in need of immediate attention...they will contact you right away.  If not, then it is a safe bet that they did not find any abnormalities that you need to be concerned with.  So, if you can believe it...no news, is good news in this case.

Please get some well-deserved rest and feel better, Marilyn.  I think Pops is right; no news right away means it's likely that nothing is terribly wrong.  But I agree with Sharon; I would call my doc's office to try for an earlier appointment.  Or perhaps just a phone conference about the results.  Sleep tight tonight!
