Share your quitting journey
Sleeping in seems to be the new normal for me lately and I kind of like it, plus I'm retired now so why not kick back and enjoy it. I am so happy that my husband isn't traveling this winter and he can get the house all toasty for me when I wake up and I don't have to wake up with the house being only 53 ° F or so and having to get the wood furnace going. This winter is so much easier on me, life is good especially since quitting smoking . If you're just starting your quit or if you're just having a rough time, stick around, hang tough remain willing, committed and determined to keep your precious quit no matter what is happening in your life because whether we smoke or not there's always something going on in our lives and relapsing back into the trap of cigarettes wouldn't help but it would only make things so much worse. When I decided to make this quit my final one, my forever one. I realized that there's never going to be a good time to quit so I might just as well bite the bullet and quit and even though the first few weeks were EXtremly hard I was going to get through it and come out the other side as an Ex smoker and because my health, family and wallet were depending on me succeeding and I think that I am on 553 DOF nowand still counting, if I can do it after 40 yrs of smoking anybody can. I remember the beginning of my quit and at times, I really didn't think that I could get through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and cravings but I did and so will you, it does get easier as time goes on, there's definitely life after cigarettes and it's great.
