I am sooooooo sick and tired of the freezing cold temps and I would venture to say that all of you are tired of me complaining about it. -7 ° F or - 22 ° celius this morning and only 62 ° F in my house when I got up . We've been out of wood for about a month now, we have electric heat and this is the first year we have ever used it. With the furnace the floors are warm and the basement is warm and with my husband being up earlier than me the house is usually around 70 which is really nice so I need these temps to warm up, I know alot of people that have run out of wood it's been such a long winter and it's not done with us yet. I'm very sorry for complaining about the weather again but I do feel better just blogging about it. 267 precious smoke free days and counting. I need to get moving maybe I will warm up. I think I will make a chicken stew and a pan of biscuits. Stay strong in your quits everyone because living a smoke free life is absolutely worth all of the withdrawals and rough days to be able to say we don't smoke anymore yay for all of us EXERS.

It will be such a happy day when you start getting some REAL Spring weather ! It is not very spring like here either ! Sometimes I have to wonder why I chose to move further NORTH when I left MV Island !!!

Congrats on your quit Marilyn and  I wish I was coming to dinner Chicken stew and bisquits YUM !

I was a little bothered yesterday without the patch but I think it was more mental than physical !

You are not complaining near as much as I would be if I lived in that kind of weather, lol. I complain if its below 40.  I used to live in cold weather areas but no more. My youngest daughter cannot remember living where there was snow in the winter as she said if temps were 10 degrees or below she would never leave the house and I'm sure she means it, lol.

I wish Spring would come quickly for you.  Save me some stew and bisquits PLEASE, sounds good.

Congrats on 267 DOF, awesome!!!

I am SO sorry you still have Old Man Winter hanging around.  If I were putting up with it STILL, I would be complaining daily, too - no worries in that regard.

Chicken stew and bisquits sounds heavenly!  YUM!    I'm not coming to your house for them though!

Spring IS here in Maryland today.  Going to shower the rest of the week, so I'm headed outside for a bit today.

Enjoy your feast and revel in the new smokefree Marilyn!!!

Oh my dear friend I would've long since lost my mind! You Northerners are so tough! My body just goes rigid in cold weather and I think this winter HAS been the worst! You go ahead and complain as much as you want! You've earned it and also (((Applause))) for your fabulous quit!
